CompTIA A+ PC Certification

There are four specialist areas of training in a full CompTIA A+ program; you're considered an A+ achiever when you've achieved certifications for half of them. Because of this, most training providers only have two of the courses on their syllabus. You'll find that you're advised to have the teaching in all areas as many jobs will be looking for an understanding of all four areas. Don't feel pressured to pass exams in all of them, although it would seem prudent that you at least have a working knowledge of every area.

A+ certification on its own will mean that you're able to fix and repair stand-alone PC's and MAC's; ones that are generally not connected to a network - this generally applies to home use and small companies. If you add Network+ to your CompTIA A+ training course, you'll also learn how to assist with or manage networks of computers, meaning you're in a position to move further up the career path.

The typical IT professional throughout Britain can demonstrate that they receive a lot more than fellow workers outside of IT. Average remuneration packages are hard to beat nationally. Excitingly, there is not a hint of a downturn for IT growth throughout this country. The market sector continues to grow enormously, and with the skills shortage of over 26 percent that we're experiencing, it's most unlikely that things will be any different for quite some time to come.

There is no way of over emphasising this: You absolutely must have proper 24x7 support from professional instructors. You will have so many problems later if you don't adhere to this. You'll be waiting ages for an answer with email based support, and telephone support is usually to a call-centre who will take the information and email an instructor - who will attempt to call you within 24-48 hrs, when it suits them. This is no good if you're stuck and can't continue and have a one hour time-slot in which to study.

If you look properly, you'll find the very best companies which give students online support all the time - no matter what time of day it is. Never make do with a lower level of service. 24x7 support is the only kind to make the grade when it comes to computer-based courses. Perhaps you don't intend to study during the evenings; but for most of us, we're working at the time when most support is available.
